West Garden
A completed residential quarter in Ramenki with an 8-hectare private park and a further 8 hectares of landscaped riverside grounds — 12–14-storey buildings, panoramic windows, underground parking and the Setun River Valley nature reserve nearby.
West Garden is located between Minskaya Street and Generala Dorokhova Avenue in one of western Moscow’s greenest residential areas.
Its defining feature is the amount of space around the buildings: mid-rise architecture, extensive landscaping and the Ramenka River create a noticeably less dense environment than most large Moscow developments.
Architecture & Apartments
The 12–14-storey buildings have individual architectural identities, with façades finished in natural stone, granite, limestone and clinker brick.
Large panoramic windows use Schüco and Reynaers aluminium systems. Layouts include corner glazing, bathrooms with windows, principal bedroom suites with private bathrooms and dressing rooms, and spacious kitchen-living areas.
West Garden offers around 75 layout types. Ceiling heights reach 3.6 metres, with higher ceilings in selected penthouses. The rarest residences feature panoramic glazing, open terraces and the possibility of a wood-burning fireplace.
Views vary significantly between buildings: the private park and Ramenka River, Matveyevsky Forest, the Setun River Valley, Moscow State University, Poklonnaya Hill and Moscow City. Orientation is therefore an important part of choosing an apartment.
Park & Riverside
This is West Garden’s principal advantage.
Residents have access to an 8-hectare private park. A further 8 hectares of landscaped public space extend along the river, including a 2-kilometre riverside promenade.
More than 3,000 trees and shrubs have been planted, complemented by extensive perennial landscaping. There are walking routes, seating areas, picnic spaces and quiet gardens.
For sport, the grounds include a 3-kilometre running route, workout and yoga areas, table tennis and a multi-use court for football, basketball and volleyball.
Families
There are eight children’s playgrounds within the private park and a further three along the riverside, with spaces designed for different age groups.
Nearby schools include School No. 1448 Shuvalovskaya and School No. 1586. Private options include Snegiri School, while Moscow State University’s University Gymnasium and other Ramenki schools are accessible by car.
For families, West Garden’s particular strength is the ability to combine city living with everyday outdoor life within and immediately around the development.
Lobby, Parking & Storage
The principal lobbies have ceilings reaching 7.8 metres, with reception desks, waiting areas, pram storage and concierge services.
Underground parking provides approximately 1,300 spaces, with direct lift access from the residential buildings. Private storage rooms are available for bicycles, luggage, tyres and seasonal belongings.
The private grounds are access-controlled and monitored around the clock by CCTV and security personnel.
Location
The Setun River Valley nature reserve begins close to the development. Matveyevsky Forest, Mosfilmovsky Pond, Victory Park and Moscow City Golf Club are also nearby.
Minskaya metro and MCD-4 station is approximately 15 minutes away on foot, depending on the building.
Generala Dorokhova Avenue provides convenient road access towards the Third Ring Road, Kutuzovsky Prospekt and western Moscow. Oceania and Vremena Goda shopping centres are a short drive away.
Points to Consider
West Garden is a large residential quarter, and the position of an individual building has a significant effect on the living experience.
An apartment overlooking the park or river is a very different proposition from one facing the surrounding roads. Orientation, views and noise levels should therefore be assessed carefully.
Only around 8 of the 16 landscaped hectares are private residents-only grounds; the riverside park and promenade are public.
Walking time to Minskaya station also varies considerably between buildings. On the resale market, apartments range from unfinished properties to individually designed interiors, so the quality of the fit-out should be assessed separately.
Russian Estate View
West Garden is primarily about space — between the buildings, around the home and beyond the development itself.
Mid-rise architecture, an 8-hectare private park, a two-kilometre riverside promenade, proximity to the Setun River Valley and extensive family and sports facilities create an unusual proposition for Moscow: urban living with greenery and water as part of everyday life.
When choosing an apartment, we would prioritise:
building + orientation + view + floor + proximity to the park and exits + layout + parking.
At West Garden, the right view and position within the quarter can be more valuable than additional square metres. They determine how fully the apartment benefits from the development’s greatest asset — living beside water and greenery while remaining in Moscow.
